GLO's Story

Born from a mother’s love and a community’s prayers, Grief's Light Outreach exists to bring warmth into cold seasons.

A home for grieving mothers and friends who walk with them. Practical hope, honest stories, and a redemptive way forward. We honor the past, walk faithfully in the present, and believe the future can glow again.

“Even the darkness is not dark to You; the night is bright as the day.”

Psalm 139:12

What We Believe

Our Why

At Grief’s Light, we exist to bring comfort, healing, and hope to mothers who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a child.

Compassion

We walk with grieving mothers in love, empathy, and understanding—offering a safe space to mourn, remember, and heal.

Faith & Hope

Even in the darkest moments, light remains.

We believe in nurturing hope, strengthening faith, and helping mothers see that their story, and their child’s story, still carries purpose.

Healing

Grief is a journey, not a destination. We provide tools, resources, and symbols of hope to help mothers navigate loss and rediscover light.

Honor

Every child’s life matters. We preserve their memory with dignity, celebrating their legacy through meaningful keepsakes.

Community

No mother should walk alone in grief. We build a sisterhood of support, connection, and encouragement for healing hearts.

Meet Sharon

Sharon Leonard’s journey began in the silence, after losing her daughter.

What began as her book Ciara’s Light, became a movement of remembrance through Comfort Boxes.

There are no words when a child is lost. That aching pain was transformed on her journey of healing into a mission: to make sure no mother felt alone in that same silence.
